He is a member of numismatic and historical societies active in research and the dissemination of scholarship.
He is a member of the Società Numismatica Italiana (since 2002); a member of the Società Napoletana di Storia Patria (since 2005); a founding member of the Società Mediterranea di Metrologia Numismatica (2017), where he serves as secretary; a member of the Circolo Numismatico Pugliese, section of the Società di Storia Patria per la Puglia (since 2008), with roles as secretary and member of the Board of Directors; and a member of the Accademia Italiana di Studi Numismatici (from 2009 to 2019), where he served as secretary and member of the Board of Directors.
