He is active in the field of scientific conferences, participating as organizer, moderator, and speaker in meetings of national and international relevance. This commitment is framed within a perspective aimed at fostering dialogue among scholars, promoting contexts of exchange and interdisciplinary openness.
Among the most recent initiatives he has promoted are the conferences Numismatica del Risorgimento, Il “Corpus Nummorum Italicorum”: genesi ed eredità scientifica and La Grande Guerra tra storia e mito, organized in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Culture, the University of Bari “Aldo Moro,” and several State Archives.
In parallel, he has taken part as a speaker in numerous congresses and seminars, presenting contributions focused on the history of numismatic literature, the coinages of Southern Italy, and the metrological aspects related to monetary production.
From the early stages of his career, he participated in the Giornate Normanno-Sveve organized by the Centro di Studi Normanno-Svevi of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, one of the principal forums dedicated to the study of medieval Southern Italy, contributing to several editions between 2000 and 2012, during which he was repeatedly awarded research grants.
Since 2008, he has also participated, often with organizational and scientific roles, in the national congresses promoted by the Circolo Numismatico Pugliese (section of the Società di Storia Patria per la Puglia), contributing to the development of a structured research environment at the regional level.
His activity has progressively expanded to an international scope, with papers presented at major academic and conference venues, including the International Numismatic Congress and the international conferences Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, where he has addressed topics related to the tradition of numismatic studies, specific coinages of Southern Italy, and their associated metrological aspects.
Alongside these experiences, he has taken part in meetings, seminars, and cultural initiatives of both scholarly and outreach character, often serving on scientific and organizing committees and contributing to the definition of content and the structuring of activities.
Taken together, these contributions outline a path oriented toward the enhancement of numismatic research in its historical and methodological development, as well as toward the construction of a network of scientific relationships capable of connecting different disciplinary fields and institutional contexts. He also promotes and curates exhibitions dedicated to the history of numismatic literature, conceived as instruments for dissemination and the enhancement of bibliographic heritage.
Through the display of fundamental works and rare editions, these initiatives present to both specialist and general audiences the historical depth of numismatic studies, making their evolution and cultural value clearly perceptible.
Among the principal exhibitions are 100 anni del Corpus Nummorum Italicorum, held in Vicenza in October 2010 on the occasion of the centenary of the publication of the work promoted by King Vittorio Emanuele III, and Dalla carta al metallo: genesi di una medaglia d’arte, a travelling exhibition first presented in 2018 at the 40th National Trade Fair of Foggia.
